No More Smoking in Lynwood, WA Parks?

LYNNWOOD – Your days of being able to light up, and smoke, in Lynnwood city parks maybe coming to a close.  The Lynnwood City Council could vote on the matter within the next two months, the Herald of Everett reports.  If passed, Lynnwood would become the fifth city in Snohomish County to ban cigarettes and other kinds of tobacco in city parks, the paper reported.
Existing smoking bans are in effect in Lake Stevens, Bothell, Marysville and Sultan.  Mill Creek has a smoking ban at its sports complex and Snohomish County is also considering a smoking ban for two wild areas, the Herald reported.
Lynnwood City Councilman Sid Roberts said that the exact wording of the smoking ban, and its potential consequences, have yet to be finalized.  ”It just seems to me that a park ought to be a place that is public,” Roberts told the Herald.  ”Our children are looking to adults to know what behavior to model.  I just think that’s a good place for an example,” Roberts said.

Ka Won Korean Restaurant in Lynnwood, WA

The Ka Won Korean BBQ in Lynnwood, WA.
The Lynnwood area has a wide variety of dining choices.
As a real estate agent I eat out probably way too much.  One of my favorite types of restaurants is Korean BBQs.  The food is fresh, cooked at the table and the flavors are amazing.  The Herald just posted a review of Ka Won Korean Restaurant on Highway 99 in Lynnwood and it sounds pretty good.  I have to admit though that despite it being not the prettiest place, I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Secret Garden Korean BBQ.

How do you say smorgasbord in Korean?

A smorgasbord is exactly what we had at Ka Won Korean Restaurant when we ordered Modum Gui BBQ combo ($53.99).

First, let's talk about what Korean barbecue is. Korean barbecue is a fun way to enjoy a meal with friends. When you order barbecue, the waiter turns on the tabletop grill to heat up while your food is being put together.

If you haven't been to a Korean BBQ, then you really should try one sometime.  There are several in Lynnwood so finding one that suits your style is not a problem.

Short Sale Your Lynnwood, WA Home

Is your home in Lynnwood killing you financially?
A lot of homeowners that bought during the peak of the real estate market in Lynnwood, WA are faced with huge house payments that are killing them financially.  This is leaving many homeowners wondering what to do and how to solve their problem.  My answer is to short sale your Lynnwood, WA home!

A short sale is not the answer for all situations, but for the vast majority of homeowners, it is the cleanest way to get out from under a mortgage payment that is destroying them financially. When you short sale your Lynnwood, WA home, that growing payment from your adjustable loan goes away, giving you time to breathe financially.

If you are wondering what a short sale is that is OK. A lot of my clients haven't heard of one either. Simply put, a short sale is when we sell your home for less than what is owed and get the bank to agree to waive the difference!

As your professional Seattle short sale negotiator, I can make that payment you are struggling with go away and usually even make any second mortgages or home equity lines of credit vanish, with little or no recourse down the road.

Call me today at 425-773-3149 or visit my Lynnwood, WA real estate site for more information about me and selling your home. I hope to hear from you soon so we can get you out of the situation you are in and back on the road to financial stability.

Your Lynnwood Washington Real Estate Agent

First let me say that there is no such thing as a Lynnwood Washington real estate agent anymore. In 2010 the state of Washington change the titles for all real estate agents to brokers so now we are all 'real estate brokers' of one type or another. Of course consumers are aware of this and we are still referred to as real estate agents day in and day out. So while I am technically a real estate broker I will continue to report myself as your real estate agent, because that is what people are used to.

Before you choose a Lynnwood real estate agent to work with, you should take a few minutes to talk with them and make sure they are full-time professional real estate agents (brokers) and that they fit with your personality. The reality is that which ever real estate agent you choose to work with, you will be having regular contact with them for some time and if their personality clashes with yours it will make buying a new home or selling your existing one a painful process.

As for me I have been in the real estate industry since just after 2001 and into the business because of our horrible experience in purchasing our first home in the Lynnwood area. Now after a decade of helping people in Lynnwood and in surrounding towns such as Everett, Mill creek, Bothell and Seattle I am still dedicated to helping people buy and sell homes.

Of course recent changes in the real estate market have made it very difficult for most agents to stay in business and I have to say that I am very pleased that I am still here, and that most of my clients still to this day come from referrals from past clients. It really means a lot to me that when someone asks one of my past clients if they know a good real estate agent, living happily pass along my name.

If you are looking to buy or sell a home in the Lynnwood Washington area then please do give me a call at 425-773-3149 or visit my website at http://www.JacquieCliff.com.
